Stokes Wheeler Pty Ltd (Administrator Appointed)
Bill Cotter and Roland Robson of Robson Cotter Insolvency Group were appointed Voluntary Administrators of Stokes Wheeler Pty Ltd (A.C.N. 080 554 623) on Monday, 3 February 2025.
The Company operated in the commercial construction industry, focused in South East Queensland. All Projects and operations of the Company are currently ceased as a consequence of the appointment.
The Administrator's have commenced a process to secure assets and project sites and are engaging with all stakeholders with a view to
maximising potential returns for creditors.
Customers / Projects We will be in contact with representatives of Principals on all current projects to discuss future
arrangements in relation to same. It is envisioned that alternate building contractors may take on these projects in due course (subject to
negotiations with Principals on those contracts). Any relevant information relating to future arrangements for current contractors
involved in work on those Project sites will be discussed and communicated when known.
Creditors / Suppliers / Sub Contractors If the Company owes you money, please complete the following Proof of Debt Form
and email to our office via to admin@rcinsol.com.au
We are currently reviewing the Company records to identify creditors and will issue first a circular to all creditors shortly.
The Voluntary Administration Process In a VA there will be a series of reports and meetings aimed at informing creditors
as to the steps taken by the Administrators and the prospects of repayment of amounts outstanding. At this stage the Directors have
indicated they intend to propose a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) aimed at maximising the potential return to all classes of creditors.
We will report to you on that proposal in due course. Certain creditors may also have an interest in funds held in Project or Retention
Trust Accounts. We are currently investigating those accounts held by the Company and liaising with representatives of QBCC in relation to
the process for dealing with funds held in those trust accounts.
Key Dates in the Administration
Under the VA process, reports and meetings are required on a strict timeframe. The following approximate key dates in the VA process may be
noted:
- 5 February 2025 – First Circular to creditors
- 12 February 2025 - First Meeting of creditors
- 3 March 2025 - Issue of Administrator’s Report on available options and DOCA Proposal
- 10 March 2025 - Second Meeting of creditors (Decision Meeting)
